Minutes of Meeting: January 23, 2012

Meeting came to order at 7:16pm
Jim Deming recused as the items coming before the board concern the Solar Installation on Deming Family Trust Property on Old Sandisfield Road, Route 57. Tom Paine to preside.
Mel Fryman, representative of CTC Electric asks for a waiver to several clauses of the proposed Solar By-law in regards to solar installation on Deming Family Trust property.
As presented by Eric Roddy of CTC follow:
° Stamping of proposal
°Description of equipment to be used
°Identification of the contractor to be approved before they are contracted.
°Liability Insurance to be waived as it would be additional to that required by the Utility Co.
°Surety for de-commissioning of the site
°Other permits required for determining wetlands as the Conservation Commission has already signed off on them.
Questions asked and answered:
No trees to be cut within 200 feet of the brook; 1600 feet from the road (Route 57).
Array area to be 3.57 acres.
All abutters have been notified and all but 2 have responded; with no negative feedback.
All waivers requested were approved unanimously by the Board.
Board adjourned at 8:35pm.
